Today is a two post day. Daddy is home and was able to capture Izzy smiling big at Mommy.

2 Month Shots

Izzy had her two month shots yesterday. She did not enjoy being pricked three times, and screamed as loud as she possibly could. Mommy bought her a new mobile to make her feel better.

Bigger Than an Normal Vegetable

She seems to get bigger (and funnier) every day. As of last Thursday, she was 12 lbs 2 oz. We will get an official weight on Wednesday at her 2 month appointment.

Developments:

• Lots and lots of smiles that make mommy and daddy laugh.
• Her little head gets stronger every day. When you hold her on our shoulder, Izzy looks around and extends her right arm straight out backwards to balance (we need to capture this photo).
  
• She sleeps more during the night!
• When Izabella is on her play mat, she bats at her toys.
  
• Baby babble! Sometimes she can be quite funny with her noises. "Ahhhhhhhhhh"
  
• She sucks on her right fist.
• Eye Contact
• Strong set of lungs. They get a good workout every night around 7.
  
• Tears :(

8 Weeks Old!

Today is Mike's first day back to work. :( Both Izzy and I miss his company and our leisurely routine. I guess real life had to resume eventually...

Izzy and I went to a Mom's group this morning and met lot of babies and moms. It will be our new Thursday adventure until I go back to work.
