15 Weeks

Here's mom at 15 weeks:Mom's doing good, her appetite is back and morning sickness is just a bad memory.

A little bit about the baby. It's about 4 inches long and about 2 1/2 ounces (for those of us who need a fruit to compare it to, that's about the size of an apple). The baby's legs and arms are growing and it is able to move around. Apparently the baby has developing taste buds and can sense light. According to the website I'm stealing all of this from, if we went for an ultrasound we could stop calling it "the baby" or "it" and start calling it by it's gender. But, sadly, no ultrasounds are scheduled.

The Car Seat

I ordered the baby a car seat with my reward points from work. It came in the mail today and here it is...
Now all I need is a car.

The Closet

Spoiler Alert: I eventually get the sticker off of the metal track I'm holding. Here is the left side of the babies new closet. As you can see I still need to do a little touch-up painting. This is the right side of the closet. That's right, our baby has shelves.

Lemons, Closets and Pee

Well, we finally started on the Nursery and the first move was to set the closet up by installing an adjustable "closet system". I was at Lowe's three times to get everything right (luckily it's close) and we found out that the hangers hit the door, so I'll be back at Lowe's next weekend.

We don't have any real news right now, but according to one of the baby websites our baby is the size of a lemon, has eyebrows and, yes, it can pee already.

We'll post another picture of Mom soon and one of the closet as soon as I paint over the superfluous holes I drilled in the wall.

Baby Einstein!

Today was our second doctor's appointment. We saw the brain and the little heart beating. It is getting to be so much bigger, and looks like a baby now!
